# A clearer Approval Pending workflow

Approval Pending now gives reviewers more context and more practical ways to work with incoming policy documents.

WHAT CHANGED

• Authorised users can download a document directly from the Approval Pending queue.  
• Direct policy bookings can show who submitted the case.  
• Approval-pending information can be downloaded for review and follow-up.  
• Policy documents received through approved email workflows can enter a structured review queue.  
• Import and validation improvements help reviewers identify incomplete or unsuitable records earlier.

WHY IT MATTERS

Approval is not just a yes-or-no step. The reviewer needs the source document, the identity of the submitting user and enough context to decide what should happen next.

Bringing these pieces together makes responsibility clearer and reduces the need to ask colleagues to resend files or explain where a case came from. It also gives managers a better view of work that has entered SIBRO but is not yet ready to become a final policy record.
