# Safer, faster policy and document processing

Several behind-the-scenes improvements now make policy and document work faster and safer.

WHAT CHANGED

• Policy-document uploads are processed more efficiently.  
• Converted-policy downloads complete more reliably for larger datasets.  
• Import workflows can hide POSP name and category when those values should not be carried into a record.  
• Quote selection can prevent the use of insurer companies that are not live for the intended workflow.  
• Validation and duplicate checks help stop avoidable records before they enter the operational queue.

WHY IT MATTERS

Speed matters, but so does control. A faster upload is useful only if the resulting document reaches the correct case. An import is useful only when its values are appropriate for the receiving workflow.

These improvements reduce waiting time while adding safeguards at points where errors tend to multiply. Operations teams can process more work with less clean-up, and managers get a more dependable base for reports and reconciliation.

Some controls depend on the insurer, product and access configuration used by each broking firm.
