What’s New in SIBRO

📌25 Aug, 2024 : Significant enhancement to SIBRO auto-reconciliation features

Previously, when auto reconciliation failed, it required the accounts team to identify and report any errors to the operations team, who then corrected them. Once corrected, the operations team would inform the accounts team, prompting them to reconcile again. However, this process posed two challenges: firstly, the accounts team had to maintain a list of unreconciled statements, and secondly, until an invoice was fully reconciled, related policies would display as ‘Uninvoiced’ in reports.

We are delighted to inform you that we’ve now revamped the Auto Reconciliation process to address these issues. The upgraded system will:

  • Retain the statement associated with each auto-reconciled invoice
  • Automatically reconcile policy/endorsement entries as soon as reconciliation entry mistakes are rectified
  • No longer require full reconciliation of an invoice for a business to reflect in Reports including Uninvoiced Report

Please note that these enhancements are effective for all future Auto Reconciliations only, and do not apply to Manual Reconciliation.

📌12 Aug, 2024 : Updates on summary displayed in the Click & Expand section under Policies

The summary displayed in the Click & Expand section under Policies > Converted has been enhanced. It now includes information on RECEIVABLE, RECEIVED & PENDING amounts, along with the addition of the Pay In Rule ID if available. The download logic for custom reports has been re-engineered to efficiently manage larger volumes of data.

📌12 Feb, 2024 : Pay In Master Improvements

We have enhanced the Pay In Master Custom Fields. Previously, the master displayed all the Dropdown Type Policy Custom Fields. With the update, the page is more intelligent, listing only the Dropdown Type Policy Custom Fields relevant to the selected Insurer & Policy combination.

Moreover, we’ve introduced the “Type of Policy” (New/Rollover/Renew) dropdown as a standard field in the Pay In master. Furthermore, the Rewards Section can now be specified based on Brokerage or Net Premium (Only applicable in India).

📌10 Jan, 2024 : Two-Factor Authentication

The SIBRO administrator can now activate Two-Factor Authentication for all users by navigating to Settings > Organization > Organization Master. The last available option is Two-Factor Authentication, which is initially disabled. Upon enabling, remember to save the settings. Subsequently, for all new logins to SIBRO, an OTP will be dispatched to the user’s email, and it must be entered for login.

It is crucial to note that this feature should only be turned on if your email configuration is accurate. If email settings are not properly configured, refrain from enabling Two-Factor Authentication until the system email is set up correctly. Please reach out to the Support team if you encounter any difficulties.

🗓️12 Dec, 2023 : Filter data in the Upcoming, Converted, and Business Statement pages

Now, you can efficiently filter data in the Upcoming, Converted, and Business Statement pages using custom fields in both Policy Master and Client Master.

 

Here’s how it works:

 

  • Navigate to the custom fields in Policy Master or Client Master.
  • Click and expand the desired row.
  • Look for the “Add to Filter” checklist option.
  • Simply tick the box, and that’s it! The custom field is now accessible on the Upcoming, Converted, and Business Statement pages.

Please note: Currently, only drop-down type custom fields can be filtered. Enjoy the enhanced ease and precision in viewing and downloading data on these pages. Check out this enhanced functionality as we continue to prioritize and implement features that cater to your evolving needs, providing you with a comprehensive and user-friendly insurance broking software experience.

The latest software update introduces significant enhancements to the User Master module, specifically focusing on improvements to the Employee Master. Users with POSPs/Referrals/Agents enabled will now benefit from a clear separation between Employees and POSPs/Referrals/Agents within the User Master interface. Additionally, the update refines the information collection process for POSPs in India, optimizing the sequence in which data is presented and introducing the ability to seamlessly import POSPs as well. 🗓️14 Sep, 2023 : New Update: Resolved Invoice Number and PAN Auto-Loading Issues.

Kindly note that with our latest update, you can now efficiently manage your invoice numbering without any hassles. The problem of not being able to reuse deleted invoice numbers has now been fixed. Also, the issue of PAN numbers not auto-loading in invoices is now resolved. We’ve integrated an auto-resolution feature from GSTN, ensuring that PAN information is seamlessly populated in your invoices.

🗓️02 May, 2023 : When renewal alerts are deleted, Sibro now automatically remove any associated unpaid installments.

We are thrilled to unveil our latest Sibro insurance broker software update, designed to enhance your policy management experience and streamline alert handling. In response to valuable user feedback, we have implemented a crucial improvement to address the issue where canceled policies resulted in the persistence of unpaid installments despite the deletion of renewal alerts.

With our latest update, when renewal alerts are deleted, the software will now automatically remove any associated unpaid installments as well. Depending on the presence of renewal alerts and unpaid installments, you will be notified with a message stating “Renewal alerts and Unpaid Installment alerts will be removed”.

🗓️10 Feb, 2023 : Sibro insurance broking software introduces a Clients login feature.

Now Sibro users will have the provision to login to their respective clients’ home pages.

 

There are two ways to log in to the Sibro client home page.

  • via client master
  • client contact person invite

 

Logging in via client master: Click on the Settings → Policy → Client Master. Here can select, click, and expand the corresponding client and assign a username and password. Once this is done, the respective client will be able to log in to the Sibro client home page using these login credentials.
Client contact person invite: Click on Policies → Converted. For those policies where the status is “Outward Awaited”, we can see a “Client portal login” button. When clicking on it, you can send a login invitation to the corresponding registered email address. Clients can then navigate to the Sibro insurance broking software client home page.

 

When a client gets logged in through any of the above methods, they will land on the Client home page where they will have the option to download and view all client-related policies and their details.

A new advanced date range filter has taken the place of the “Financial Year” filter on all pages. Being one of the most recommended insurance broker software in India, now the Sibro users will be able to search all information including their prospects, clients, policies, renewals, and reports in a variety of time frames, including the current year, today, this week, this month, yesterday, the last 10 months, and the previous week, month, and year. In addition to this, a custom date range can also be chosen.

🗓️28 Jun, 2022 : Introducing a new feature called “Referrer”.

At Organization Master, we have introduced a new feature called “Referrer”. From now onwards, admin can set a user as a Referrer. By default it will be set as Disabled for all users. Admin will have the provision to enable or disable it. If the referrer feature is enabled, at Policies Converted, just before the Business Owner row, the referrer details such as the referrer commission percentage and the referrer commission amount will be indicated. Also in order to know if the user is a POS or an agent during the Referral selection, the respective designation and branch will be shown in the referral dropdown.

🗓️10 Jun, 2022 : Enhancements in “Converted Policies” details display.

In the case of bifurcation policies in the Converted Policies click and expand display, from now onwards, the actual brokerage percentage will be shown in brackets for better clarity. If bifurcation exists, then each of the bifurcation percentages will be displayed in brackets separated by ‘+’. Similarly, if a co-insurer exists, then the Total Net Premium will be displayed in click and expand instead of Lead Insurer wise Net Premium.

🗓️08 Jun, 2022 : Introducing provision to record policy cancellation at the Endorsement Issued Step.

At the Endorsement Issued Step, there will be a provision to record whether the respective policy is canceled or not. By default, it will be “No”. If changed to Yes, then at the Upcoming Policy section, the renewal alert will be automatically deleted.

🗓️08 07 Jun, 2022 : Introducing excel download feature for Quote comparison.

From now onwards, users will have the provision to download the quote comparison document in excel format also. While clicking on the “View detailed quote comparison” button, there will be a dropdown button that will ask for the file format, PDF, or Excel.

🗓️20 May, 2022 : Introducing Mode of Payment custom field in Downloads.

From now onwards, while we generate reports in Sibro Insurance Broking Policies Converted, there will be two more new fields named as Mode of Payment and Client group, which can be added as custom fields in the Policies Converted section.

🗓️18 May, 2022 : User privilege enhancements in Sibro insurance broker software.

Sibro user privileges has been optimized with more precision and accuracy when the CRM feature is “ON” in the Organization.

🗓️10 May, 2022 : Improvements in Quote Comparison.

During quote comparison, from now onwards there will be an option to select the respective insurers also.

🗓️25 Apr, 2022 : Minor text changes in Sibro insurance broker software Settings.

To globalize the current Sibro Settings, current “Employee” menu name has been changed to “Users”. Similarly “Employee Master” has been changed to “User Master.”

🗓️11 Apr, 2022 : Minor Improvements in Clients Search | Sibro insurance broking software.

For now onwards, user can search for client information not only based on client name and their corresponding contact details but also with their client ID.

🗓️07 Apr, 2022 : Minor enhancements in the Claim Intimation feature.

From now onwards this insurance claims management software will auto suggest the claim executive during the time of claim intimation. This can be done by setting the claim executive as the default in charge for a claim at the time of policy issue itself.

🗓️04 Apr, 2022 : Introducing Designation field at the User Custom fields in SIBRO Insurance Broking Software.

From now onwards, user can set their own designation-wise user custom fields. For that we have introduced Designation field in the add/edit provision of the Custom field in the User Master. The Designation is a multi-select dropdown where the user can choose multiple designations when required.

🗓️02 Apr, 2022 : Introducing Referrer in the Sibro Translation Settings.

From now onwards, users can change the default word/phrase POS to so called Referrer if required. For Indian customers, it should be the default POS itself.

🗓️28 Mar, 2022 : Minor Enhancements in Inward and Outward pages.

Sibro has introduced a new provision for attaching documents in the Inward and Outward pages.

🗓️25 Mar, 2022 : New updations in Organization Master.

At Organization Master, we have now introduced a new multi select option called Convert to Policy. Now the user will have three options in Convert to Policy such as:-
Premium Transaction, Policy Request and Add Policy. In order to proceed, you have to select at least an option. When there is only one option is selected, then “Convert to Policy” at Upcoming will be a button redirecting to that option. When more than one option is selected, then “Convert to Policy” at Upcoming will be a dropdown of those items.

🗓️15 Mar, 2022 : Advanced filter provisions in Converted Policies.

During the client name search, we have now introduced a new search criteria also. It is called as “Search by Policy Number”. This will definitely ease the search process in the Converted Policies section.

🗓️18 Mar, 2022 : User interface enhancements.

From now onwards, Sibro insurance broking software will display the logged in user’s name and a letter avatar on the top right corner; next to Settings icon. On clicking the display picture, you will have the option to change your user password and logout.

🗓️11 Mar, 2022 : New feature release-Show/Hide client summary details

We have introduced a new feature in Sibro where the user will have the provision to either show or hide client summary details as per his/her convenience.

🗓️04 Mar, 2022 : New feature: Ability to import bulk endorsements.

From now onwards, you will have the option to import bulk endorsements via Sibro. You can see a button called Import Endorsement Request at the Endorsement Create and Request pages. Clicking on Import Endorsement Request (on the Endorsement Create page) will take you to an import page similar to Policy Import page. Here you can initiate your bulk endorsements import. You will also have the options for upload and download endorsement templates.
